More About Us

Saskia Nuttall
Hi all,
I am Saskia.
Born and raised in London but I have recently moved over to Lincoln, NZ to start my university education in Viticulture and Oenology. As you can probably tell I have a passion for wine and unfortunately have built up a rather expensive taste for it. My goal is to discover wines that don’t cost a fortune but are still palatable as my student budget does not allow over indulgence.
My wine of choice is Red wine, particularly Pinot noir. But I am more than open to trying anything.
I love to talk wine so don’t hesitate to get in contact and we can have a chat.
Thats all for now.

Good morning, good night and everything in between.
I am an African child in my heart but I was born in Wellington New Zealand. I lived in New Zealand for four years before moving to Namibia. Both my parents grew up in South Africa so all of our family was still there. However I spent my childhood in Namibia. I moved out of the house when I was 13 and went to boarding school in Cape town. I was in the fine establishment of Bishops Diocesan College. This incredible hub of knowledge gave me the level of education needed to continue my studies abroad.
I am now a student at Lincoln university where I am studying a Bachelor in Viticulture and Oenology.
I am excited to start this journey with you all. We will be documenting our own experiences and voicing our opinions on wines that might be considered to be bad at first.
Thanks for joining us
Didier

Hey, I’m Cici the newest addition to It’s Always Wine O’clock. I was born in North Carolina, USA and moved to New Zealand when I was 9. I now live at my families hop farm in Tapawera. Having a background in farming and brewing brought my interest in viticulture and oenology, which I am now studying at Lincoln University. I definitely still have a lot to learn about wine but will hopefully be able to share some of my new found knowledge along the way. I love tasting new wines and am still working on finding my favourite variety.
I’m super excited for what’s to come and can’t wait to talk wine with you all!
